When is it right to take a life?
When is it right to take a life? Some say "never", somesay, "occasionally.." and some have a eye for an eye view. Well, it's alright to say you do or do not support the death penality, as long as you directly have nothing to do with sentancing someone, Right? But suppose you live in rural Mississippi and everyone who's skin does not match yours is an enemy. A Black man's ten year old daughter is beaten, raped and left for dead, but lives and her father shoots the white man who damaged a girl's mind and distroyed her body. Just suppose... And if you were on this man's Jury, How would you vote? If you were in the Ku Klux Klan (or a similar group there of), how would you react when a white man lawyer defends the girl's father? Compare your answers with the novel in which these characters exist.
