By Steven Lang
Tiger who once burned so bright, why are you no longer light
What great force could it be that now shapes your destiny
He who made the lamb made thee, but will your end be brought by he
Or will you part to another, who would seek to rule all others
You, like your kin, now disappear, but who knew you were even here
Still, ageless like the trees, you always live in memories
Always shall your soul burn on, long past when your flesh is gone
It is time, I fear, to say adieu, though we will long remember you
In memory of Max
